The Surprise Winner of Pop Idol. Really Surprising, as young Will Young is
so much more Merchant Ivory than Pop Idol. This is a man so defiantly posh
that by rights he should be married to David Beckham. Perhaps he is. Will
won our hearts by standing up to TV's pop Beelzebub Simon Fuller, and
promptly won the show. And then he promptly came out. A boy with a brain -
and a quiff and a chin that is slightly reminiscent of the young Morrissey.
Grannies adore him. Young girls love him. And a lot of you would like to
light his fire. Well, you know, anything is possible...
