Uh-oh!! The Sun does a poll -
and it doesn't look good!
The Sun newspaper has done a
poll on which Pop Idol contestant is the favourite, and it was Gareth Gates
that won... with a huge victory. Will did come second, but it wasn't even close
and Darius was third.
However, we can console
ourselves in the fact that The Sun readers are only a portion of the
population, and The Sun has been running a Gareth Gates campaign. But, honestly,
someone please tell me the qualities of Gareth. I've been told he's supposedly
good-looking. I fail to see this myself - he looks about 12 and he looks like
he should be in a1 (not a good thing). And please don't get me started on his
singing!! How can you compare his voice to Will's or Darius'? It's just not
good enough. Ok, so he might have a nice personality, but we never get to see
this cos he hardly ever speaks. Now, I'm not being nasty, but I don't think
he'd want to win just because the audience feel sorry for him!
