Will's dad speaks out
Will's dad, Robin, has spoken
to The Sun newspaper (which, by the way, is supporting Gareth) about his son's success
and what he was like as a child with his twin brother Rupert. The Sun has been
doing a series of interviews with people who know the remaining five
contestants, and Will's dad gave some very interesting revelations, and also
some cute little photos of Will were included (go to pictures section)! Robin
revealed that his twin sons were constantly scrapping as children but now they
couldn't be any closer. Rupert watches Will every Saturday but his dad has only
recently started going, because he was too nervous. But Robin was extremely
proud when Will stood up to Simon Cowell when he said Will's performance was
average. It comes as a surprise to learn that Will kept his Pop Idol success a
secret until he got into the final 50!!
Robin also said that Will didn't conform but wasn't a rebel, as he left that to Rupert!! Will also has an older sister, Emma, who is 26 and a nephew, Jacques, who is 3.
